The utility tunnel at Met State (marked as a solid white line) ran from the power station up to the Carpentry building and out under St. Nicholas Chapel where it crossed under (and gave access to via a small narrow stairway) the connecting tunnel which led from the Medical building to  food services and the CTG units. Past the staircase, the tunnel continues west under Kline Hall to another stairway leading down to a lower lying (almost always flooded) corridor which led out to the Male dorm boiler room. From here it runs north to the Female dorm (flooded) and then out to the Administration building (usually dry).
